Privacy

This is a personal portfolio. I don't run ads or analytics, and I don't keep a mailing list. Here is the little information that does pass through the site, and what I do with it.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

The contact form

If you write to me through the contact form, I receive your name (optional), your email address and your message. They are sent to my inbox through Formspree, the service that runs the form, which is based in the United States.

I use this only to reply to you. I don't add you to any list, and I don't share your message with anyone. I keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation, and delete it when you ask.

Protected case studies

Some case studies are shared under NDA and need an access code. When you enter a valid code, the site sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for the period the code allows, usually a day or two. It is used for nothing else.

I can see when a code I issued has been used. To stop people guessing codes, I keep a short record of failed attempts, using a scrambled form of the IP address, not the address itself.

Cookies and tracking

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved on your own device so the site remembers it. It is never sent to me. Apart from the access-code cookie above, this site sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the service.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Write to me through the contact form and I will reply. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
